Volunteers - A Variety of Commitment Opportunities are available throughout the year for energetic people to assist with special events, membership, pledge drives and in the WMFE office and studio. The participation of volunteers throughout the year is an important part of WMFE’s success. Volunteers are valued for the time, energy, experience and expertise they share. If you have the time, we have a need you can fill.
Do you have outstanding phone or
organizational skills? Do you like working with people or participating
in special events? Whatever your skill, WMFE is seeking individuals,
community and civic groups, and specialty clubs to volunteer their time
to maintain the excellence and foster the excitement at WMFE.
As a WMFE volunteer, you get a chance to:
participate in fun activities
meet other viewers, listeners and community members
get a behind-the-scenes look at how the station works
have the satisfaction of supporting the station in a personal way
students can count their work as community service hours
local organizations can show their involvement with the community
