V-me (pronounced veh-meh), the Central Florida telecast of the nation’s first Spanish-language public television network, delivers an exclusive mix of original productions, world-class acquired content and specially-customized public television programming, presented from a U.S. Hispanic perspective. The name V-me comes from the Spanish phrase veme, meaning see me.

Programming reflects V-me‘s wide ranging interests and genres including:

  • Kids High-quality Spanish-language preschool programs, educational online resources for children and parents, and local activities.
  • Lifestyle- Latino-focused food, travel, design, home and self improvement, parenting, health and well-being.
  • Factual and current affairs Intelligent entertainment and opinions: history, technology, nature, current affairs, news and biography.
  • Movies and special events Contemporary Spanish-language films every night, plus international concerts and special events

V-me is available free to WMFE and other public broadcasters across the country. V-me un servicio de WMFE is available over-the-air on 24-2, on Bright House Networks channel 1125 and on Comcast channel 201.

V-me‘s national core is distributed by PBS flagship station Thirteen/WNET in New York. As it does with its primary PBS service WMFE will augment the national V-me service with local programs of the same quality and values. Public television stations from around the country will serve on V-me’s station advisory board.
