Q: What is the recommended contribution for basic membership?
A: WMFE basic membership is $35. A $25 membership is available to seniors.
Q: My employer participates in a matching-gift program. Where can I get the forms and where do I send them?
A: The human resources department at your company should have the forms. Complete them and send them to WMFE Matching Gifts, 11510 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL, 32817.
Q: Does WMFE fund raising support any other charities?
A: No, WMFE does not raise funds for other non-profit entities.
Q: Is my WMFE membership tax deductible?
A: To the extent allowed by law, yes. You must subtract the fair market value of any gifts you receive. A listing of fair market values was included in your pledge confirmation letter.
Q: How do I arrange for a tour of the TV studio or radio station for a group or organization?
A: WMFE is not offering tours at this time.

Q: Can I sponsor a membership for someone else?
A: Yes, you can purchase a Gift Membership for someone else. You pay for the membership (at any level) and the other person receives the benefits. Call 407-273-2300, ext. 175 and a Member Services Representative will assist you.
Q: Can I make a gift in memory of another individual?
A: Yes. Send your contribution to Vierka Kleinova at WMFE 11510 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, Fl, 32817. Provide the name and address of the individual. Acknowledgements will be sent to the donor and the person named who inspired the gift (if appropriate).
Q: Is my membership transferable to a PBS or NPR station in another city?
A: No. Each station is independent and maintains its own membership base.
Q: Does WMFE exchange names, addresses, phone numbers and e-mail addresses from its membership list?
A: No.
Q: How can I include WMFE in my will or living trust?
A: You can make a gift (bequest) to WMFE through your will or living trust by designating a percentage of your total estate, the residue or a portion of the residue, or a specific dollar amount. Q: How can I give a gift of stock?
A: Giving appreciated stock to WMFE can mean tax benefits for you. Call Donna Wittmann at 407-273-2300, extension 117 or e-mail her at dwittmann@wmfe.org for more information.
Q: If I donate a car, do I get a membership?
A: If you aren't already a member, your car donation will qualify you for one-year WMFE membership. Call 1-866-963-3288 to donate a car.
Q: How do I change my mailing address?
A: end your OLD and NEW name and address to wmfe@wmfe.org or call us at 407-273-2300, extension 175.
Q: I am moving out of the area. How do I stop WMFE mailings?
A: Before you move, call Member Services at 407-273-2300, extension 175 or e-mail wmfe@wmfe.org and ask to have your mailings stopped.
Q: Can I get a thank-you gift from a previous pledge drive?
A: It is often possible to receive thank-you gifts from recent pledge drives. Call Member Services at 407-273-2300, extension 175 and the Representative will tell you if the item is available and at what pledge level.
Q: How long does it take to get my gift after I pledge?
A: Generally, it takes from four to six weeks after we record your pledge payment (or first installment). If you are concerned about your gift, please call Member Services at 407-273-2300, extension 175 or email wmfe@wmfe.org.
Q: What if I get the wrong gift or a damaged thank-you gift?
A: Our thank-you gifts are shipped from Pennsylvania. If you open your gift and discover that it's wrong or damaged, just contact us at 407-273-2300, extension 175 or e-mail wmfe@wmfe.org
Q: I am canceling my current credit card. How do I get the new credit card information to WMFE?
A: Just call 407-273-2300, extension 175.
Q: I already renewed. Why am I still receiving renewal notices?
A: Sometimes your renewal payment gets posted to your membership after we have pulled the file to send the next month's renewal notices. Occasionally, your payment may not have been recorded as a renewal. If you are concerned, contact us at 407-273-2300, extension 175 or e-mail wmfe@wmfe.org.
