April 17th, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando- With Florida's legislative session more than half over, self-defense bills are garnering a lot of attention. 90.7's Matthew Peddie spoke to Orlando Sentinel editorial writer Darryl Owens, who says some of the proposed law changes could have unintended consequences. Owens also talked about the recent bear mauling in Lake Mary. He says one solution that's worked in other parts of the country is bear-proof trash cans.
