10 Options for Celebrating July 4, In or Out of Theme Parks


July 4, 2014 | WMFE, Orlando -- Independence Day events are already underway. 90.7 News has the rundown on options for celebration.

Central Florida steps up its nightly celebrations for Independence Day. That’s according to Mark Jaronski, vice-president of Global Communications at Visit Orlando.  He says, “We are a destination that many people recognize has July Fourth-type fireworks celebrations every night of the year,” he says.  “So, when it comes to the real July Fourth, Orlando is certainly one of the best places in the country to be.”  Below are options for people who want to visit the theme parks – or avoid them.

 

Theme Parks

 1. DISNEY WORLD: Celebrations run through the weekend with a July 4 Concert in the Sky on July 4.  http://bit.ly/VAtyXn

2. LEGOLAND: Red, Brick and Boom involves fireworks that look like bricks and a huge American flag visitors can help make out of Legos.  http://bit.ly/1mcoJN

Municipalities
