September 10th, 2013 | WMFE - Tallahassee based writer Bob Shacochis covered the U.S. military intervention in Haiti in 1994 as a journalist, and he used that experience as a springboard for his latest novel -- The Woman Who Lost Her Soul. 90.7's Matthew Peddie speaks with Bob about his novel and how Haiti influenced his writing. Also, as President Obama seeks Congressional support for a military strike against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, but support for US military intervention is mixed. 90.7's Matthew Peddie speaks with Jaber Nyrabeah, member of the Syrian American Council's Orlando Chapter, about the situation in Syria and the impact of U.S. involvement.
