April 05, 2011| WMFE - Intersection host Mark Simpson talks with WMFE CEO Jose Fajardo about the sale of WMFE TV to Dallas based evangelical christian broadcaster Daystar Television. Channel 24 WMFE TV has operated since 1965. The sale is subject to FCC approval. Fajardo says rising costs within the PBS system, an anticipated reduction in state and federal funding, and lower than expected fundraising results contributed to the decision to sell.
