Seminole Elementary Schools Evacuated

UPDATE: 2:46 According to Seminole County Sheriff;s Office, the following 12 elementary schools have been searched and are cleared: Bear Lake, Carillon, English Estates, Geneva, Heathrow, Walker, Pace Brantley, Partin, Rainbow, Sabal Point, Wekiva, and Winter Springs.

Several Seminole county schools were evacuated Friday afternoon after several bomb threats.

Law enforcement is on the scene at every Seminole elementary school while the department investigates. The following schools have been evacuated:


  • Casselberry Elementary
  • Winter Springs Elementary
  • Lawton Chiles Elementary
  • English Estates Elementary
  • Red Bug Elementary
  • Lake Orienta Elementary
  • Forest City Elementary
  • Spring Lake Elementary

Multiple calls were received by the Seminole County Sheriff’s office and Seminole County Public School. Specific schools were named, according to Seminole County Sheriff’s spokesperson.
