A 5k you can run in your jammies and eat free pancakes at after you finish? Pass the Aunt Jemima, Jemima! It’s time for the first but not last annual Pajama Pancake 5K tomorrow 7:30am-10:30am at Bill Frederick Park at Turkey Lake. Start the day with a run or walk through the scenic, wooded and flat 5K course that winds through the trails of Turkey Lake Park. A delicious pancake breakfast (free to runners) awaits you at the finish line. Stay and enjoy the park for a day of family fun or eat your pancakes and go back to bed!

The largest selection of collector cars in the world is available tomorrow through January 25th at the Mecum Collector Car Auction at Osceola Heritage Park in luscious Kissimmee. More than 3,000 classic, muscle and collector vehicles plus hundreds of pieces of automotive memorabilia will be on the auction block during this exciting event. Admission is not cheap but it’s free for children 12 and under so there’s that. Gates open at 8 daily.

And finally, here’s something weird. Inspired by renowned dancer and choreographer Merce Cunningham’s exploration of chance, this production, called Chance, contains numerous variables that will be determined prior to each performance through audience interaction and company collaboration. I have no idea. Spoiler alert: audience participation is involved. This show takes place Saturday at 8:30 in the Orange Studio in the Mills 50 district.

And as always, Orlando is wonderful.
