The Messiah Choral Society presents their 42nd annual performance of Handel’s Messiah on Sunday afternoon at 3:00 at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center in Downtown Orlando. Dr. John Sinclair, Professor of Music at Rollins College will conduct the 120+ member choir and professional soloists. The performance is also supporting the Second Harvest Food Bank by requesting concert attendees bring donations of nonperishable food items. Doors open at 2:15 , and since this an open to the public concert you may want to get there early for the best seats.
The 51st Annual Space Coast Art Festival is taking place this Saturday and Sunday at The Exploration Tower at Port Canaveral. The festival features over 240 juried artists, live music and food trucks from The Daily City Food Truck Bazaar.
The Jammin Food and Rum Fest mixes food, rum and music. It’s an international combination of food mixed with rum recipes from around the world and music from an array of artists including Orlando Latin/ Reggae band “The Luna Bellum” and local hard rock band “Falicity”.
