Intersection | Midterm Election Round-table

election-2014

Voters have decided to give Rick Scott four more years as Florida’s Governor. The race was costly and negative between Scott and Republican-turned-Democrat Charlie Crist - but Scott won out by about 100,000 votes on Tuesday night.

Republicans across Florida also won big in tight Florida House races as well - Rene Plasencia, Mike Miller, Scott Plakon and Bob Cortes all defeated Democratic incumbents.

To discuss last night’s election results and yesterday’s voter turnout in the midterm election, 90.7's Matthew Peddie speaks with political commentator Frank Torres, UCF Political Scientist Aubrey Jewett and Seminole County Supervisor of Elections Mike Ertel.
