The Downtown Food and Wine Festival brings 30 restaurants and 30 thousand people to a Lake Eola Park for all-day noshing and boozing this Saturday noon to 9 and Sunday noon to 7. Full disclosure for the third year in a row I am one of the judges. So if you see me cutting in line, waving at fans and taking selfies with my mahi mahi gnocci, say hey girl.

Local legendary artists Doug Rodehamel, featured at The Daily City’s Cardboard Art Festival the past 2 years, will be building 1/10th scale replicas of several Star Wars vehicles. Guests can see a complete X-Wing and a half-built Tie fighter during this fundraiser tonight 8 to midnight at Stardust Coffee in Audubon Park, across from the shuttered E-Cig shop that we hear is available for rent!
