FL Senate Offers House Olive Branch With Map Proposal


In Tallahassee, the chair of the senate committee tapped to redraw congressional district maps has offered an olive branch to his counterpart in the Florida House. The Senate and House are in a deadlock over the maps, each with their own idea on what they should look like.

NASA says the world’s seas are rising at uneven rates and even are retreating in some places. But the space agency says it can’t predict how fast sea levels will rise in the future in part because melting ice sheets aren’t well-understood.
